Hello and welcome to Brewer Leaders! I suppose I should explain a little bit of what this site is and who I am. So let's get started shall we...
Brewer Leaders will be doing just that, tracking Milwaukee Brewer players and their career stats while with the team. We currently have every player that has ever played with the Brewers from 1970-present and are tracking a number of offensive and pitching statistics. Each Leaderboard will display the Top 100 players for each category.
I started getting curious about the current crop of players and how they've made such an impact on the Leaderboards, especially Prince Fielder and (as of writing this post 96 career Home Runs). So I've been tracking the stats since the beginning of the 2008 season and am just now getting around to developing BrewerLeaders.com.
Right now there really isn't much on the website, hell none of the Leaderboards even work. This is due mainly to the fact that I'm developing the entire backend of the site myself instead of taking something like Wordpress and hacking it to bits to get it to work. I've been out of the web development game for a while and needed a project to get me going.
Now I'll briefly go over myself. My name is Ryan Malesevich and live just outside of Milwaukee. I love the Milwaukee Brewers. I'm a 23 year old recent college grad from Whitewater with a BBA in Management Computer Systems and currently work as a Business Analyst. So I'm doing this website in my free time, which will help to explain the slow development process.
