Congratulations Prince on 100 HR

Today Prince Fielder became only the 16th player in Brewer history to hit 100 career home runs for the franchise (the leaderboard won't update until tomorrow morning). The home run was a no-doubter in today's game against the Giants that landed in McCovey Cove in the seventh inning that put the Brewers ahead. It was instrumental in getting another win, and getting us closer to a playoff push.

It was also his 20th of the season and is quickly approaching Ryan Braun's totals for the year.

It also showed me that I was late on my goals for development for Brewer Leaders. I haven't previously announced it, but besides the Leaderboards, the other goal of the site is to generate a blog post documenting movements and career milestones. I wanted to have a beta of that feature by the time Prince hit his 100th career home run. Oh well, and since I'm heading to Chicago tomorrow for the week I'm not sure if I'll get to any development.

Some development news: I recently saw that Google has started to index the site and the links to the Player bios had me a little underwhelmed. So I've put the batter info on the page and will need to get to pitching for the pitchers. Note that the On Base Percentage is not 100% accurate because I'm not tracking some of the stats that are needed, but checking a number of players it's only off by a few thousands of a percent.
